Students/ Customer
Our students are our customer. So as instuctors or what ever your job title, we need to be great at selling our product, which is education.

Sometimes folks in academics seem to look at representatives with derision. The realty is that we need them to do their job ethically and well for us to our job. It takes a well-connected team to be successful.

Happy students make happy customers who share their positive educational experience with friends and family are far more convincing then an admission's representative doing his or her best song and dance to bring in prospective students.

I also agree that if a student is spending there time and money, that it up to us as a whole to see they get the best education that they can, and for us to help them any way we can. Without them we have no school!
I totally agree. We need to be solid in offering quality education to the students. If they are spending their time and money it, in my opinion that we give them the best we can.

The students are absolutely our sole reason for our jobs. Whether they are right or wrong it's our job to always give them the best customer service possible. Our students may not always handle a certain situation in the right way, but its our job to turn a bad situation into a good situation for them. I have had many students come to me angry but leave happy and satisfied with the outcome of our conversations. They just want to be heard and helped and not feel like they are being brushed aside.

Education is extremely important and showing this to students shows them you care about what your teaching and in return your students will be motivated and engaged in class topics, labs, lectures, ect.
I concur that because without the students who will we have. They have to be treated with courtesy also.
I concur, the students are our number one internal customer and the sole reason we have the privilege of teaching.
