What are some of the things you do to display a positive attitude?
There is no doubt that in order for the people to have a positive attitude around you that you must have a positive attitude as well. This helps the students feel more positive about themselves.
I agree. I have to be positive in my class room even if I am not having such a positive day.
I agree with this statement. Negativity will grow, whether it's from faculty, administration, staff it doesn't matter. I feel we need to focus on the roles we have in a positive manner when dealing with students, but also with our coworkers. One bad "attitude" can stir a lot of trouble in which the students will pick up on.
I agree, I find that the students mirror the enthusiasm I demonstrate in the classroom, or the humbugness...I am passionate about my work and want to plant that seed in the students as well. In my line of work self promotion is a key ingredient and a positive professional presentation is a great way to make a lasting impression on the community in which you live, work and learn.
