Beyond the Course
I believe that beyond the course syllabus you can change a students life by interjecting life skills as well as encouraging them to read books that will help mold their attitude and outlook.

Correlation is huge for my students. Providing them with real-life situations and examples sometimes allows the "ah-ha" moment to occur.
Giving life experiences to teach life skills for students that are young, really makes a positive difference.
I totally agree! The student needs to hear the "real life" experiences to make a connection and to have a clearer picture of the field they will be working in.
