
I think the biggest key to teamwork is communication. If the team knows what is going on, people are willing to step up and help.

Communication is always an issue. People need to feel that they are in the loop and valued.
Many accrediting agencies are adding additional focus on faculty involvement in curricula and policy development. Keeping the faculty involved is one waty to limit negativity.
I think communication is one of the ingredients required in the recipe for building a successful team. One cannot omit trusting in their abilities and respecting each individual members' ideas and expertise. When a person feels valued and appreciated by their organization it creates a culture of trust and excellence which is beneficial to management, faculty, staff and ultimately the students
