I have found venting is good for letting go of stress. I have also found that venting to that same trusted person when stress is happening frequently can become overwhelming if done too often.
Meditation is a good balance when stress is high and it is a good practice for me to do both. In other words there are many ways to relieve stress, some work better than others and its best not to rely on only one type of stress relief.
Does anyone have problems with finding what actually works or do people find certian activities only delay the stress? Can someone else give evidence to support that view?
