I believe that is the problem and it is a political thing wherein the people to benefit from accreditation are most buerocrats. I believe the State itself should regulate this and would do a better job. Neighborhood, Community, town, city, state. I believe that the students' best interest would be best considered at the state level. I believe that it would be great to have the U.S.D.O.E. regulate the individual state D.O.E. as they should be responsible for regulating their states accreditation agencies...
