Nicholas, The tricky part here is whether and when to disclose to an employer. It CAN be done -- in fact, I agree with you that it SHOULD be done -- but people with disabilities often hesitate to reveal what they perceive to be "weaknesses" to someone who has just hired them on. The answer is to present the disability in a positive light. Not "I am going to need something extra because..." but "You hired me to do a job, and I intend to do it! I have ADHD, and that means to do a job we are both satisfied with, I need... But given that, hang on to your hat!" GRIN Dr. Jane Jarrow
