In the Teaching and Organizing a Virtual Learning Environment class module three, I learned about the many roles of the instructor and how important each role is to the success of his/her students. Also, the need to reflect on the course and its many facets is important as instructors need to continuously improve their teaching methods.

In the Teaching and Organizing a Virtual Learning Environment class module two, I learned the importance of being organized when teaching an online class. Also, setting guidelines for student responses is required in order to obtain thoughtful and meaningful responses which will result in a better learning environment.

In the Teaching Online: A Student-Centered Approach module four I learned how important it is to review a course in its entirety and to use multiple evaluations. Evaluations can come from the students via a course evaluation. Evaluations can come from peers. Lastly, you, the instructor, must evaluate all the different components of the course. This center seem quite amazing! Thank you for sharing!

In the Teaching Online: A Student-Centered Approach module three I was exposed to much information that I already knew; however, it was a good review. For example, the importance of using rubrics, and how helpful peer review can be for both participants. Also, providing good, specific, detailed feedback to student results in a more productive learning environment.

I agree, respect in a classroom leads to student working harder and learning more!!

In the Teaching Online: A Student-Centered Approach module two I learned how important a good syllabus is. I also learned that a teacher needs to build a robust online community with the class participants and using good communication is needed within the online community.

Sounds like you have a plan!! YEAH!!
