Asmir, Misrepresentation can occur intentionally or unintentionally. Sometimes it is impossible to be 100% sure that you are giving the correct response. I would recommend that you always leave the student with "While I believe this is the correct answer I would feel better if we confirm this with the department head." This type of statement allows a maargin for error. Cindy Bryant

Lisa, Thank you for sharing your point of view. As members of the educational community you become the "face" of the college you serve. Cindy Bryant
Jacquelyn, You make great points...many times it is not understood that students are the life line of a campus. As we experience daily life on campus we learn that we are affected by every action and reaction of the students. Cindy Bryant
Jacquelyn, Thank you for taking the time to research your school's material policy. This is the true meaning of education. Cindy Bryant
Carlos, We would like to believe that regulations would not influence or individual performance however the past three years have certainly proven that these influences effect institutions which do have an effect on our performance. It is good to know that there are teachers like you that are committed to their beliefs. Cindy Bryant
George , Verbally providing disclosures has a personal touch however it is better to provide critical disclosures in writing. Cindy Bryant
Justin, What do your understand your Do Not Call policy to be at your institution? Cindy Bryant
Terri, I think it is very smart to wait until the students are invested in their education before asking for referrals. Cindy Bryant
Heather, Marketing materials are key in enrolling new students however it is important that they aren't confused with the necessary disclosures required by the USDOE, accrediting and licensing bodies. Cindy Bryant
