Activity

Josh, this is great awareness. A lot of people struggle with this limitation. But, it sounds like you have a plan moving forward. Great work here. Dr. Jean Norris
Corynne, that sounds like a great plan! Dr. Jean Norris
Corynne, absolutely. Great point here on mirroring. Dr. Jean Norris
Katherine, interesting point. So not only do you have to listen with your ears but also see their body language and listen in other ways to best communicate. Dr. Jean Norris
Josh, thanks for your honesty here. I'm curious, what specifically do you find difficult about discussing competitors? Dr. Jean Norris
Josh, great question. While it is important for reps to be 100% competent in all 4 areas, the percentage of time focused on each area may be up for discussion. Product knowledge is extremely important and it's something that a person needs in order to be successful in any position. Dr. Jean Norris
Josh, thanks for sharing this. Yes, the laws are always changing. Some people have found Google alerts helpful so that they get a daily list of anything that occurs in the news. Another helpful site is the Department of Education webpage at www.ed.gov or even looking at different accreditation body websites. Hope that helps. Dr. Jean Norris
Janice, that's a great point. Email and texting can be convenient at times, but depending on the student, they may prefer to communicate in a different way. It sounds like you are willing to adapt. Great job. Dr. Jean Norris
Bob, that's in interesting idea. I like that you limit your excuses to one per interview. I wonder, what has the response been from the students you work with? Dr. Jean Norris
Paula, that is a great point. Mirroring here can be a great way to start to build rapport. Dr. Jean Norris
