Activity

rafael, sending a student/prospective student to an individual who specializes in an area as a good choice. Knowing enough of a subject area to understand the student's question(s) and getting them to the correct individual is excellent. James Faulkner
Craig,if you are factual and honest the student is also empowered and able to make a solid decision as well. James Faulkner
Discussion Comment
Robin,I agree, but it is wrong to use superlatives in the other departments of the school(s) as well. James Faulkner
Discussion Comment
Robin, not to mention to responsibility when students choose our scoll(s). James Faulkner
Shannon, I think knowing and understanding regulations and complying with them is called professionalism. Every associate wants recognition as a professional but a few will try to imitate by not putting in the effort to learn the standards. James Faulkner
Kylee,I totally agree. We display a luxury product, we don;t sell used cars. James Faulkner
LaKisha,I like what you are saying. I too ask myself a final quality check question to ensure I have provided all the information asked for in both a regulatory and friendly customer service manner. James Faulkner
Discussion Comment
Robert,I would prefer to think of the value premise being based on full disclosures and transparency and solid customer service. These create a value to the prospective student. James Faulkner
Discussion Comment
Sarah,a misrepresentation, unintentional or not, is still damaging to a prospective student and is still a violation. All major disclosures covered by federal, state and accreditation requirements are in print and the prospective student initials the enrollment agreement that they received the disclosures in writting. You are right about superlatives - people could (and will) take them the wrong way. I agree that factual information, transparently porrayed to the prospective student best meets our mission statement and regulatory compliance. James Faulkner
Discussion Comment
Isaac,I agree that a commercial can be created to capture what our current students think about Concorde. When a commercial is made this way you would only want spontaneous and candid testimonials from the student body. When a testimonial is taken out of context or a host of testimonials are obtained so that the commercial can selectively choose, false advertising may well occur. James Faulkner
