Kenneth, Repeat offenders are detrimental because they have it their "speech" and this can cause constant mistakes. Training to ensure that these issues don't cotinue is extremely important. You are correct, bad news does travel faster than good.... Kathie Dherit

Patricia, Great answer! We want to ensure that our graduates are going into a career, and not just a job. That is why we are here to change people's lives. Kathie Dherit
Angela, And it is clearly defind in the ACCSC standards. It states "A schools’ recruitment efforts describe the school to prospective students fully and accurately and follow practices that permit prospective students to make informed and considered enrollment decisions without undue pressure." We want to make sure that we are finding and keeping those committed students. Kathie Dherit
Lindsey, Correct, only documented information is reliable, and therefore that is what should be used. Kathie Dherit
Steven , Correct, what is documented in the catalog, student handbook, website, etc. is what has been approved and that is what we should always use when giving out any information. Kathie Dherit
Robert, I like your answer. We don't want to just enroll students to hit a "quota". By doing that, you are NOT ensuring that we are enrolling committed students. The ACCSC standard states "A school’s recruitment efforts focus on attaining students who are qualified and likely to complete and benefit from the education and training provided by the school and not simply obtaining enrollments". Kirson, Great answer. That's right, if we are consistent in everything we do (even the stuff that isn't enjoyable) we are doing the right thing. A student that is consistently late to class, will probably also be late to work. We need to inform them and "break the habit" of this now, so that they are successful in the workforce. Kathie Dherit

Rebecca, Great answer. I totally agree with you! Kathie Dherit
Rebecca, I agree. I believe they both go hand in hand, your "action" of doing the right thing will "result" in being compliant. Bad actions = not being compliant. If we are truthful at all times, we can easily be compliant. It's those times that someone wants to sway another person (perspective student perhaps) that they tell that person what they want to hear. That is NOT doing the right thing. Kathie Dherit
Laurie, Having a graduate come back to speak about their experiences in school and then out in the "real-world" is invaluable. They can personally speak about any challenges and opportunities that they may have had during school, but also trying to make it in the real world. Kathie Dherit
