Angelia, Knowing all of the correct information up front makes it easier for the prospective student to make an informed decision. This should continue throughout his/her schooling so they are happy and satisified with everything from start to finish. Kathie Dherit
Susan, Great answer. You are correct, even though you may not come in contact with prospective students at the school very often, but if you are wearing YTI clothing in public, you still need to uphold our mission and values in case someone asks you about the school. Kathie Dherit
Danielle, Exactly! Using our mission and values when speaking to employers about what we do, and how we approach career training, may give us that employer relationship we need to continue to use them for externships, etc. Kathie Dherit

Scott, Correct, the pressure a current student may feel would probably jepordize their true feelings about the school. They don't want to give the wrong impression - they may feel one way today, but differently the next. It's just better to use graduates, since they can speak about the whole experience from start to finish to give a better idea of how the school is. Kathie Dherit
Elinore, You are right, it is a great way to show prospective students what actually happens during school and what it might be like in the real world. Gives instructors a chance to "show off" what the school has to offer. Kathie Dherit

Angela, Great answer. I think you have a great understanding of the mission! Kathie Dherit
Andrew, Correct, and releasing this information could actually be harmful if released to the wrong person. It's just quick and easy to get the student's/graduate's permission first. Kathie Dherit

Allison, Great answer. Superlatives are those types of words you want to stay away from because they are based NOT on facts. Kathie Dherit
Eric, You are right, a lot of it has to do with common sense. What is right and wrong. If you are not sure of something, it's okay that you don't know. Just don't try to fake an answer, let them know you will get the answer for them, and then follow through. Kathie Dherit
Chase, Great statement. If we are transparent and give ALL the information they need up front, we hope to in fact harbor a student that is driven to succeed! Kathie Dherit
