Activity
Empowerment results when individuals feel they are a part of the decision-making process and have a role to play in creating a future for themselves. I will provide opportunities to have students in the process.
Students have the ability to explore careeer choices and selecting their career path is meaningful to them. The student has control of their future.
Students who are involved are personally motivated. The vision to see the value of the program is key. The instructor has an opportunity to facilitate this motivation.
Awareness of self helps us to understand others. It is key to journal and continue to learn about various cultures.
meeting is the place where the group revises, updates, and adds to what it knows as a group. Every group creates its own pool of shared knowledge, experience, judgment and the goal of the objectives must be clear and defined.

Team Management includes focusing on clarity, accuracy and thoroughness in communication. I will recognize individuals and demonstrate transparency. Enouragement of all ideas and opinions will be important.

Career Ed Lounge is embedded in over eighty professional development portals serving the career and technical education community. Performance Groups in the Lounge are integrated with related learning opportunities offered on these portals. With a few exceptions, Performance Groups are also publicly available to any member of the Lounge to maximize peer-to-peer learning and performance outcomes.
