Getting positive feedback from the students is a great idea. Is this used to recognize staff/faculty who are identified for the work they are doing?

Victoria, I assume that the tutoring occurs outside of normally scheduled class time. Is the tutoring done in a group setting or individually? What happens if the student has a conflict with other commitments [work, family, etc]?

Victoria, has this practice improved attendance rates and/or student performance?
Sounds like a valuable service, Carrie. Hope it is successful.
Thanks, Scott. This is a great practice. How have the faculty responded to the practice? Have there been some common themes that could be the basis for in-service training? Has it become part of your culture and something that instructors simply expect? I would think there would be some real resistance to the initial implementation.
Kirk, "lengthy" scares me. What response rate do you get for this survey? What's the motivation for a student to complete a lengthy survey, knowing that they won't benefit from it?
Victoria, sounds like a comprehensive approach. What results are you getting? Do your students respond positively to these initiatives?
Scott, are the classroom observations scheduled in advance or unannounced? Who does them and what's the follow up with the instructor?
How do students connect with the student success center, Carrie? What are the responsibilities of the people who work in the center?
Bill, please tell us more about greeting students each morning? Do they all arrive at the same time and use the same entrance or do you have to move around to see everyone? Do you get any actionable information from the students doing this or is it just intended to set a tone?
