A really good reminder to keep work life and personal life separate, to always be professional, and to create an appropriate wall. A student will never forget a good role model. Unfortunately, a student will also never foreget a bad one.
I gained an appreciation for the history of CTE in this country. It definitely involves much more and is much more comprehensive than I thought. What a great way to increase college attendance, decrease drop-out, and help to facilitate devlopment of essential skills.

Career Ed Lounge is embedded in over eighty professional development portals serving the career and technical education community. Performance Groups in the Lounge are integrated with related learning opportunities offered on these portals. With a few exceptions, Performance Groups are also publicly available to any member of the Lounge to maximize peer-to-peer learning and performance outcomes.
