Yes, delegation is a wonderful way to manage too many tasks in your queue Marcus. Saying no - where appropriate - also works. While we can't say no to everything, pushing back every once in a while is a healthy approach.
I like your categorization approach Jorge. Nice work. It is truly best to first identify which tasks are the highest priority and then attack those first. Some people also like to assess level of effort for completing each task. This way, they can feel confident about which tasks they can knock out of their queue quickly.
Excellent to hear Alica! Sounds like low impact exercise may work best if you have to go easy on your bones and joints. Swimming, walking and yoga are all great choices.
All of these are great coping mechanisms, thanks for sharing William. I too agree that a well define problem is half solved. Well said!
Sounds like a great plan Earl! I like the way you are incorporating a lot of variety in stress management. That's really important. It will help sustain your interest and add color and richness to your days.
Excellent to hear Libi! Change is sometimes hard when we take too much on. It's ok to start small and ease your way into a new routine!
So glad to hear you have found a method that works well for you Jenny! It's nice to spend 5-10 minutes just letting everything out. We've got to be careful about who we choose to listen, but if we've got an ear from someone we trust, we're usually good!
Excellent approach Janet. I'm glad you mentioned counting to ten. Taking a step back is often the healthiest approach when we're dealing with stress. Often times, our instinctive first reaction is not necessarily our best reaction.
Excellent to hear Janet! We'd love to hear more about what's working well for you.
Yes, it sounds like you are on track Alexander. It's great to hear you are regularly setting goals and accomplishing priority tasks first. Yes, sometimes it's fun to fit smaller tasks in where we can. They break up harder tasks and make us feel like we are checking a lot off our lists. Great confidence builders.
