Jean, I think that the number is increasing every year. More and more veterans are coming back to school and with them in influx of PTSD for example. Thanks for being in the class. Renee Shaffer

Mark, I agree with you ideas. Once the "older" student sees how effective they can be as a student with technology, the more apt they will be to embrace it. Welcome to the course! Renee Shaffer
Christopher, Yes, it is becoming more evident lately that our students really don't have any idea what is involved in critical thinking. I even had a parent say not too long ago, that she didn't need her daughter to know how to critically think as she already had her job lined up for her after she graduated. I was speechless. Sharon, I am having a hard time stopping my f2f students from using their smartphones in class anyway, so it would be good to allow them to quickly find things online from the academic standpoint. Renee Shaffer
Kelly, Pre-planning is certainly a key and your idea of using form letters is very helpful. Thanks. Renee Shaffer
Janis, What a wonderful idea! Did you have them use TooDoo or similar software? I love this idea and will add it to my toolkit if that is alright with you. Renee Shaffer
