Sharon, Time, time, time. It is a struggle for almost everyone that I know. Trying to find the time to work in groups is also problematic for my students. Renee Shaffer
Sharon, I would agree. I still think that a fauclty member has the knowledge that should be given to the students for "their moneys worth". Renee Shaffer

Janis, Yes it is very effective to help the student learn to reflect along the way not just on a final exam. Renee Shaffer
Sharon, Good point. Workers nowadays are having to work much more effectively in group situations so it is great that we educators can help "train" to do this. Renee Shaffer
Jeanette, Great. I also find it helpful to have the students figure out which steps need to start first. This can be useful in any academic field and it can be eye-opening for instructors and students alike! Renee Shaffer
Brian, Oh yes, it is so handy to have the materials already to be used another time! Renee Shaffer

Molly, Yes, that is so problematic. I understand completely about the no extra time or compensation and we are constantly asked to give more of ourselves. Let's hope that someday that the time and the resources will be given. Renee Shaffer
Molly, Good points. It also may be that the older student has more genuine interest in obtaining the education. That is what I am finding out more and more lately. The "spoon feeding" model seems to be evident in many of the younger students educational history. Renee Shaffer
