Amy, I like getting a variety of feedback from different people so that I can get a different perspectives. Thanks!
Simone, When rubrics are not clear, they can be more confusing to the student than helpful. This is not a good thing so thanks for bringing up things we should think about as we use/create rubrics. Thanks!
Anthony, You bring up some very good points. You know when I have a student that makes the same mistake over and over again, I ask them, "What's going through your head when you try to solve this problem?" or "What process do you go through to identify the problem?" This helps me see what process they go through as they think things through. That's helpful when assessing a process. Thanks!

Cathy, Yes, the rubric does play many roles and they all help the instructor and/or students. A tool that can help both is awesome! Thanks for your input.

Amy, Communication itself is so necessary, but when it comes to communicating the expectations, then the communication has to be extra clear. Thanks for your input.

Cathy, I like that you note that generational differences do not have to cause conflict, but help work toward collaborative learning and understanding. Thanks!
Tammy, Cool. Sounds like you maybe have tried this and it works for you and your students. Thanks so much.
Tammy, I find these are helpful for me to get started developing a rubric, but then I tweak it to make it my own and make sure it is connected to the learning objectives. Thanks for your input.
Tammy, Good descriptions. Succinct and to the point, but you have the information right. Thanks!

Simone, Meaningful and specific is exactly the kind of feedback students need. You are helping them improve and move toward the learning outcomes. Nice job.
