Terry, Focusing on the students and the content together help students achieve the learning outcomes. Meaningful feedback in a timely basis helps with this as well. Thanks!

Sherrilyn, Glad to see you use them in all of the courses you teach. It helps the students understand the expectations and helps you as well. Nice!

Sherrilyn, We are all different and when we understand that and understand ourselves better, it is for the greater good of the students. Thanks again for your input.
Sherrilyn, Very good. We have to ensure the students understand what they are working toward and why. Everything has to be connected to the learning objectives. Thanks for your input.
Sherrilyn, Definitely. We can't "assume" anything. ;-) We have to make sure the technology meets our and our students' needs and that students don't get frustrated using it. Thanks!

Christina, Right on! We have to evaluate everything we do - rubrics included. Without checking to make sure we are on track and our rubrics/assignments are on track, we won't know if our students are moving toward achieving the learning objectives. Thanks!

Gail , Yes, the rubric, "sets the stage" and helps the students understand the expectations. It does help them as the are in the midst of completing the project and it helps the instructor be more consistent in their grading. Nice job.
Mark, It's important to verify the technology is the best option for what you need it to do. And, as you pointed out, if it's not easy to use or learn to use, the students won't use it or they will be frustrated - which is a bad thing. Thanks for your comments.
Kevin, We take feedback however we can get it. ;-) Variety is good and it provides us with different perspectives. Then, we can make appropriate edits to our courses. Thanks!
Eyad, I enjoy a variety of evaluations as well. We have to make sure we are meeting the needs of the students, the course and the institution. Thanks!
