Michael, I also do the same with my class. Later in the course, I present an assignment and ask them to tell me which learning objective it is connected to. This is a great system of reverse learning, which enables them to understand the full context of the presented concept. Tremayne Simpson

For some students, they will need to continuously develop critical thinking methods, over a sequence of classes or their entire course study. There have been many occasions where a graduate will approach me and say, "I finally understand the concept of______...it took me a while, but I understand the full context of the theory now". Therefore, instructors have to constantly remind them about how courses are aligned with programmatic outcomes and how that will lead to them being successful in their desired careers.
