Cirriculum development
I am very fortunate to be part of a school that utilizes its instructors to assist with the creation, development and ongoing "upgrades" to its day to day lesson plans and course information. Our school understands that WE are the people using it everyday. We even involve the students in an indirect fashion.
We, as instructors still plan our daily lessons and meet to go over the days results to determine what worked, what didn,t and what can we do better. Our main goal is consistency of the lesson no matter who teaches it
Hi Brenda,
This is what professional improvement is all about. Every instructor needs to look for ways that he/she can keep current and improve in their delivery. You have such a plan and I know your students are benefiting from your efforts.

I have been lucky enough to be involved in creation and "upgrades" to several courses and I have found that I have incorporated several suggestions/comments from students/faculty and made improvements in courses.
I also have really enjoyed researching and digesting new books for courses to see what assignments will be used and which fit the goals and objectives of the course.
Hi Kris,
What a great school to be a part of. I really like hearing that the faculty is invested in the process of developing and organizing the instructional delivery. Keep up the good work.
