Teaching aids
Fortunately our classrooms are equipped with video projectors connected to a computer. This allows the import of a variety of presentations. And teaching math requires keeping the students engaged at all times.
I do not have the ability use projectors or computers in my class, however teaching aids thankfully come in many forms. I use the actual equipment that I am teaching them about as well as demonstrations on proper use and find that they do aid in the learning environment.
Yes I agree. I personally have a difficult time learning with out them. I have found that over time I am not alone in this as everytime I don't use a visual aid for some reason or another.. It is brought to my attention.
You are correct, engaged students learn. However presentation and learning aids is the key. I use a lot of visuals in my classroom.
I hope our school gets projectors with a computer. I agree that it makes it more engaging for the students.
