Learning English and its phonetics remains a challenge on a constant basis.This is the largest challenge to the adult learner.
Create a tutoring program after classes for those students who have these problems.
How accurate are accuplacer tests? Do they test for Adult ADD? I suffer from ADD as well and find it difficult sometimes to stay focused.
Here at are school we have accuplacer tests that identify learning disabilites so that we can be proactive
Excellent point. Maybe we have to apply some of the techniques we use for Special Needs to the class.
I've realized that there are a huge number of HS graduates or adults with GEDs that have learning disablities which require individual help. The most important thing to me is that they're motivated and actively seeking help and assistance. It's hard for me to help someone who needs it but doesn't want it.
