Dyslexia is a vey popular one. I am interested in those students who have emotional disturbances such as aggression or depression and how those illness affect learning. There is so much work to do with students who experience emotional disturbances.
There are other forms of autism as well. Asperger’s Syndrome deals with social issues that affects learning. I am also interested in learning about how we can teach to these type of symptoms.
I have also found that students with Adult ADD or ADHD have learning difficulties.

you are right & I'm glad to hear of your desire to help these learners & recognize that this interferes with their learning. Too often we see the behavioral issues & lose patience, not recognizing that learning is being affected.
