Instructor refocus
I think that it is important as an instructor that when we get tired and burned out that we must refocus. we have to get excited about what we are teaching and refocus our momentum to gain control of our class. When msut keep the moral and excitement up in our classrooms. When our students see us lose focus and drive about what we are teaching it really affects them. So therefore we must stay motivated, positive and encouraging.
I find continuing education seminars, labs, webinars etc ideal tools to keep motivated. I need new material and ideas to present in class and CE usually does the trick.
Yes, of course, but I don't see a statagy mentioned in this post on exactly how to avoid burn out and stay excited about the material.
Who motivates the motivator? What activities can keep the professor do to ensure she continues to have a positive outlook (especially with a mountain of papers on the desk awaiting t be graded)?
