We seem to have similar issues Joanna, which is finding balance and truly prioritizing- everything cannot be a "1", we must really focus on working on smaller chunks and limiting the amount of things we do in one day. There aren't enough minutes in a day but we need to work smarter and enjoy life.
Yes, this is a tremendous amount of responsibility Holly. Things change with children as they eventually grow up. They can start to be a little more self sufficient and even contribute some to the house too. For now, I can see where it's tough for you though.
That sounds like a tough spot to be in Joanna. Setting reasonable expectations for yourself and for what you can accomplish is going to be key.
Amen - I have a 2 year old in addition to the teaching. By the time I finish class, running open labs 2 days a week, grading, counseling students, etc., the last thing I want to do is housework, cook dinner, and spend 2 hours at the park so my daughter can go to bed on time!
