Time Management
I typically take the "fly by the seat of pants" approach and it seems to work for me. I am able to drop what Im doing if someting of more importance arises
Kerry, As I stated in an earlier post I have become a master at the "fly by the seat of my pants" approach. I teach 8 F to F classes and one online. I have been finding myself stressed out and having students remind me of things needed for class. This "fly by the seat of his pants", man is going to begin to use lists for each class. It does cause stress and brain overload using my present technique and there has to be a better way.

I would think this is poor time management! If you are interupting one task for another it seems to me that you will never finish your tasks and not only get tired but frushtrated!
Flying by the seat of your pants just means being flexible...if you aren't flexible you will break!
To manage my time it is very important to be flexible. I also realize sometimes I need to wait before I respond...many times situations take care of themselves without my input. Waiting before responding helps with time management...also I have learned to say "no", diplomatically!
