I feel that time management is a valuable skill to possess. However my time management often happens after I have procrastinated to a critical time crunch. I am one of those people that functions best under pressure, always have been. When it is absolutely necessary I deliver all needed tasks quickly and decisively. Extra time lets my mind wander with distractions. I admire people that pace themselves well and measure out their days. But for me, my time management style may not be what others would see as reasonable /conventional, but it works for me. I plan, work out how long it will take and then when necessary execute. Sometimes success may not be the best teacher, but it is still success!

I sometimes have a hard time managing time.Procrastination is a problem that I am working hard on this year. I am finding that when I make a list, prioritize, and complete task in a timely manner, I am less stressed and able to relax a little. However, I am stil a work in progress.

Steve, Yes, having a quick list of priorities can go a long way. I like to keep my list digitally so I can access it on my mobile phone.

I find the easiest way to manage my time is to create a list of things that I have to do with deadlines for when they need to get done. This way I can prioritize tasks.

My schools offers tutoring which is huge in helping us time manage. It allows the slower students to receive the help that they need if they fall behind. This helps the instructor to stay on course with the majority of the classroom.

There is only so much time in your day.I have found that I can divide my time for each student giving more to those who need more instruction and those who are not having as hard a time to comprehend as others in the class.I do the same in the classroom having discussion letting those with a question have more time to talk.
