Making more time
Students remember better when they have to write than what they hear and/or see on paper/books.
Yes, balance is key Kathy. It can be so tough though. Sometimes work and home life tasks conflict and we have to choose to focus on one or the other.
Learning to organize your time between work and home life is important to reduce reduce and keep organized
Same with students making notes in class.
I find that when I write things down it helps reinforce what I need to do. Even if I don't get a chance to look at it again it helps me remember what needs to get done and what priority it falls under.
I absolutely agree. And sometimes it is handy to keep one's personal schedule in mind when being approached to work overtime. It is hard to place one's personal priorities ahead of work, but many times it is important to do it.
In making more time for life/work/family and education I believe there needs to be organization and scheduling. When making your schedule include time out for yourself to prevent stress and burnout. I think this is sometimes learned over time with experience. Do you agree with this concept or have any input on the subject of making time?
