Making time
Every minute that I can save by streamlining my class and grading procedures has helped me to add precious minutes to other tasks.
Excellent to hear Donna! Sounds like you had to initially invest a little extra time to get to the point where you are now. But doesn't it feel great to be so organized and to be able to accomplish so much?!
I instruct fulltime and part-time, also have a family and volunteer on Sundays at the Human Society. Making time for everything took great organization, and adapting to shorter sleeping schedule at times. Getting organize and setting up powerpoints, lectures, quizzes, games, etc. was very time consuming in the beginning but guess what? I am organized now and my time is managed well
Indeed. It's wonderful to be able to get back time and use it in more productive ways.
I agree, anytime that you can save time it gives your time for other things like giving more one on one with students that are having a hard time with the class.
Having these tips to streamline questions, and answers, will also help me be more direct with questions on exams..The students will not have as many questions regarding what I am asking
I agree and it also helps in giving your class more information since you have more time to develop it.
Making time is hard sometimes, but I have managed to work a full time job and facilitate an online class as well. It gets time consumming, but I have learned to designate specific days and times to each responsiblity.
