making time
every minute counts make use of them for each task. an finish each one at a time rather than start all at once finishing isnt so stressfull.
I also agree students need a check off list to visualize .
Yes, online gradebooks are lifesavers. They often help automate testing and grading. There are really so many great tools and technologies on the marketplace that can help instructors. Reaching out to publishing companies can be a good first step in finding them - as many of your book publishers provide these materials to instructors for free.
Each day is busy and every second we can save to spend one on one or face to face with students is ok in my book. The online gradebook has been a lifesaver.
This is indeed true Robin. When we have a list, we can best organize our thoughts. It's nice to have an inventory of tasks we have completed and those that are still outstanding too. Makes everything feel so manageable.
Keeping a list and marking each off as they are completed is a great way to save time and have a more time to help students with their own needs.
I so agree and I tell my student to micro manage their allotted time in the lab. It's amazing how time management works in the classroom ^_^
