making time that you do not have

everyone says we can not make up time ... but you can learn to multi task to get more done. If you are using the copier you can go to get something else while it is printing.

Sherry, I like your thinking. Large and complex tasks do require concentration and sometimes fuller focus. For these, it can be critical to dive in and focus for a longer period of time - until the task is complete. While other tasks in our queues may be waiting to distract us, our commitment to focus usually pays off.

Dr. Melissa Read

I multitask on items that don't require much concentration and on mundane tasks, but find that I lose concentration when trying to multitask important things. This has led me to making a few mistakes or wasting time trying to "get back into" the train of thought of one thing I'm doing. Sometimes it is better to just take the time when the situation warrants it.
