Exams
It is good to have a tragedy for test-taking. I like to do multiple choice and true and false and maybe a minimum of 20 questions that make it easier to grade.
Sharita, Yes! It's wonderful to leverage the materials from publishers to give you a turbo boost in course preparation. Often times, publishers have already put in a lot of time to make their materials perfect for teachers like you.

I prefer to have a variety of questions as well for my students!
I prefer to utilize multiple choice/true/false tests also as they are much easier to grade. However, I also utilize short answer essay questions. I like the idea of having the students highlight the important sections of their answer or write the answer to the side. That would indeed save me some time in grading, thank you.
I agree with the module materials about using all possible resources to develop exams and quizzes. Using the publishers given materials or exam views helps me to develop and create exams very quickly. I can also make different versions of examines if needed.
I like having a variety of questions...some true and false, multiple choice and some "thought" questions.
It is easier to have multiple choice and true and false questions. Especially if scantron are not available, one can have students write the answers on the side for easy grading and save time.
