Stress with the job
Being a career instructor has produced a great amount of stress because it always feel like there are things that need to be done. I try to not let it affect my job but it sometimes does. I've had to learn the value of time and not take it for granted because this is what seems to be the conductor of most of my stress.
I agree with you, I have learned to separate work for home, this help's free up time and reducess stress.

I hear what you are saying about other instructors Robert. The work that they do after hours can often raise the bar and create new expectations with the administration.
I totally agree; being a career school instructor is rewarding but I often feel that I am giving too much time to my job/career and not enough time to my family/self/interests. But when I am at home I often feel I should be doing something school oriented; especially if other instructors are putting in time at school on the weekends. Ialso have an hour and a half commute to work so that plays a role as a stressor.
