stress how to handle it

the best way I have foundto handle stress is when i fell it coming I stop what I am doing and take a short walk around the the halls what ever is availble then return to the problem 99% of time when I return everything has clamed down.

Most of my days are filled with appointments- orthodontist, tutoring, physical therapy, etc. I arrive at my kids school about 30 minutes before dismissal and park in a good spot up front and take a nap, play words with friends, or talk to a friend on the phone. I get a chance to unwind as I move into my mom mode of the day.I find that when I take time to do this, I don't take my hectic day home with me.

I have found that taking time for myself and doing something enjoyable is an excellent source of stress relief.

Roy, Sounds like you have found a wonderful way to handle stress. What I love about this technique is that you are able to implement it in context and in the moment during which you experience stress. These methods can come in handy.

I do the same also. Just removing yourself from the stressful situation is helpful.
