Martin, So true. People who are in the same shoes are often the best to listen to your challenges. I agree that socializing this way can lead to stronger relationships. Note that we've got to balance this with making sure we don't over share or overburden our coworkers with too much of our own stress.

I find a good way to relieve stress at the end of the day is to socialize or commiserate (which ever one is required) with my fellow coworkers. Talking about the day or our plans is a good way to alleviate stress and build stronger freindships.
Charles, For some instructors, it is possible to keep track of everything in your head. For most others though, putting things to paper is the preferred approach, and one that really eases minds.

i found a good way to reless stress of the day is to organize my class in my head and fallow my to do list.
being able to shift gears helps as well. i have found that if i can lay out in my head the thing that i want to get done in class it helps to shift my mind in to work moad,reducing my stress by having goals
Timothy, So true. It's not always easy to achieve balance, though to your point, it feels like it should be. It's always important to try - understanding it's not always possible and accepting that.
