How do you deal with a boss that make life impossible at work?
I'd like to know more before hazarding a reply here. Exactly how does your boss make life impossible at work? Much of what one chooses to do to counter the problem depends on the HOW of it all. Of course, the ultimate solution is to get another job!!--not an easy thing to do right now, unfortunately.
HR can be a serve as a great help when you've already tried some alternatives. Great point Paul.
First, try communicating the fact that the environment is hurting productivity and how by a very few simple steps, things can be improved; this way you go to your superior with a problem and a solution all at the same time.
If this does not work, see HR about options available within your structure; if this does not work, start looking for an environment you can earn a living at and maintain sanity.
That sounds like a difficult situation Juanita. There are lots of different ways to deal. One way is just sitting down and talking with your boss, sharing your concerns. Sometimes, communicating the problem is a great first step.
