The Road to Stress Free Living

What I take away from this section of the course the most is the reassurance that stress in the workplace is an inevitable variable that won't go away, but can be reduced or filtered if you know the proper ways to handle it when it does occur.
The fact of life is that nobody is perfect nor is every situation always going to be ideal, but how you respond to is the key to your overall daily success. It is very transparent sometimes to the learner if the instructor can not get a handle of his or her stress and is ultimately a distraction to the learning environment. When stress does occur in the classroom it is better to find a way to deal with it later on after the session when the learners are not present that way they do not have to suffer the consequences of your misfortune.

One way for to reduce stress is first of all to accept it. It is almost inevitable at work like at home, you will be confronted to it for a short or a long term periode.
As Jason said, the way you will deal with, the method you are going to use to control it, to reduce it, can make a whole difference. At the same time, you need to understand your stressful situation can affect the people surrounding you if you don't manage to control it.

This is true Luis. Instructors who are stress free seem more in control and organized. This creates a perception of credibility that can help you lead students.

True, stress is part of our everyday life. How we deal with it can be as much of an influence to the students as actual lessons. An instructor who handles stress professionally and effectively may be looked to by students as someone who "has it all together." This can increase that instructor's credibility significantly.

Indeed. What's most important here is understanding your situation is never going to be perfect. Good time and stress management is about making your situation more manageable.
