Stress Reducers

Sometimes you forget what works in reducing stress and need to be reminded. After reading these topics I realized that I have stopped doing things that reduced stress for me. Sometimes life becomes so hectic you forget to take care of yourself.

Indeed. Taking a step back and giving ourselves an honest evaluation can be a big step in the right direction.

I think its always good to step back see if what your doing is working or is there room for improvment.Change can be good.

But isn't it so true that as moms, we are the last ones to take care of.

I like your approach Ariene. Some instructors might find this broad strokes technique less stressful than checking on individual items daily.

It is often helpful to keep a list of stress reducers and check in with it maybe 3 times throughout the week. Have I done any of these this week? Or am I just checking off to-do items?

This is true Said. Sometimes we have to take a step back and focus on what's most important.

I agree with Angela. Life can be so hectic especially with work, family, etc., but one must take care of themself and de-stress since we only live life once!

Yes, simple reminders often do the trick. Trying new techniques is good too.
