Dealing with stress
I love to exercise and it always helps me deal with work and life stress. I do my exercise at a gym early in the morning to eliminate the day getting in the way of my exercise. I start at 5:30 am so there is little else to get in the way of my completing an exercise program. This also helps me to get to sleep at night.
Exercise does help, but I am finding it really difficult to fit in with my schedule at work. I teach from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., commute 45 minutes one way, have a toddler, and home time means housework/dinner making. Then there are grades, paperwork, etc. Even making lists, I have a hard time fiting in "me" time. Do you hsve any other suggestions on how to find more time?
Exercise, and hobbies are fantastic stress reducers, anything that helps you get your mind distracted for an hour or 2 a day goes a long way in terms of mental health.
I definitely dont see myself getting up at 5:30 every morning.
