Stress Management
I have taken the opportunity to become a stress managment facilitator. As such, you would think it's easy to manage your own stress, but that is not always the case. It's much easier to tell others what to do and/or how to do it as opposed to putting it into practice yourself.
Yes, it's true Kaytha. A few good choices early on can translate to a much smoother time later.
Making good choices are always a way to make life go smoother.
Yes, that's such a true saying Joseph. Sometimes things really do have to get worse before they get better. It's just a natural process of things. Understanding that, and setting your own expectations, can really help you cope.
Yes Cheri, I agre that a life change is often necessary to manage or even eliminate stress. I just recently got divorced and it was horrible at first, but things did smooth out for the better for both of us. people become comfortable with a crummy situatuion and can think like I did to take the lesser of 2 evils. Support from others helps a great deal as change can prooduce much stress...it gets a lot worse bbefore it gwets better some folks say.
It's true that stress reduction takes energy and practice Robert. I recommend starting small and making a few simple changes. Then build upon this foundation as the weeks go by.
Yes, I completely understand where you are coming from Cheri. Sometimes we have to take a step back and listen to what we are teaching others.
Cheri, that reminds me of the saying "easier said than done". Reducing and managing stress requires a lifestyle change for many of us. We have to make a conscious effort to manage our stress and make it a habit in our lives.
