In the courses that I teach I will have one student demonstrate but I mention more than once that they (each student) is to take the information given and make it their own. so in using a particular student as an example I ask that we each take the basic and make it our own!

Hi Kathleen,
Great idea to not share students identifying information. I even know of some instructors to get permission from the students to use their work as examples.
