I think that it is important for students to have a support system in place for child care needs prior to entering school and a back-up plan for the times their child care plan falls through. But as a mother of 3 beautiful children, I also understand that the best made plans do fall through and there are times when a parent wants and needs to be the one caring for her/his children.

But when we enter school, we do so with the intention of attending.. to attend, we have to have a plan for those things that can and will interfer with the students abilty to complete his or her program.
