Student's Who Lack Attention

Many of our younger students tend to spend more time outside of class or doing things that do not pertain to the class. It is important to recognize these students and talk to them about what they need to have their full attention.

Hi Jaime,
I am sure there are some new students with sharp math skills too that can perhaps help another new student as well as help old students.
Patricia

I have new students merging with older students right now and I see that having the older students helping the newer ones with math and other things we have gone over really helps with "noninterested" students.

How can I approach a "noninterested" student without having a reverse effect on their lack of attention?
