Center stage students can certainly be a handful. You really have to have a firm talk with them to let them know that their type of behavior is unacceptable and here are the repercussions.

I also agree, I have at least 3 challenging students per class. I applaud their enthusiasm for "center stage" students, but they are the most challenging to control. This course is offering great examples on handling these types of students.

I agree! Having them look at how others act and deal with things in class benefits them. It allows them to see that not everyone is the same. it gives them a sense of understanding.
