Absolutely, all instructors must be on the same page, otherwise you will turn out to be the bad guy. Come up with a policy that is standard across the board.

I also have been plagued by plagiarism. I now have a "plagiarised project" that I show the students... And I still get some students that won't understand. I think it is also a matter of reinforcing the idea with each and every class. Finally, the whole institution needs to hold the same standards. If I track plagiarism down, but the rest of my colleagues just let it stlide, then we fail as a team.
