Students with anger issue's

I have had a few students with anger issue's through out my years of being an instructor. I find if I take just a short amount of time to listen to the student, maybe speak on an understanding level, give a bit of ground advice, the anger usually subsides. It just takes a bit of dedication and listening and I find I can get a hold on almost any situation and turn it around in to a positive light.

I agree. In addition, if I ask them open-ended questions that require them to think critically and self-reflect, it diffuses their anger as well.

I agree, I try to handle the student one-on-one away from the class and listen to what they have to say. I try to level with them and make them see that I understand their point. I give the best advice I can, and this helps in gaining the respect and trust of the student.
