Hi Jenny,
Do a week's worth of work on the weekends so far as preparation is concerned. The load will become lighter. The more you do it, the better you will become.

As a person that is very familiar with the administrative side of things, but new to the whole teaching thing...I've found this to be pretty difficult. I've been on the job since April and I am still struggling with how to manage the teaching, student advising, and the administrative aspects of the position and still have time to fit in a lunch during the day. This term I am teaching M-Th from 9-12:30 and I feel like the afternoons are monopolized by a variety of meetings which leaves very little time to grade papers and assignments, prepare for the next day's lecture, etc. I'm still trying to get my head around balancing this.
Hi Shane,
This is not difficult, it requires self discipline and great time management.
